Note: Browsers from 2021 or more recent don't allow flash games. Sorry!
Below is my Flash 5 version of the shell game: A pea is tossed into one of the three cups; the cups move about; and one guesses which cup is hiding the pea. Click on the button to start the game.
Feb. 25, 2001. Version 1.2: From a suggestion by Kristen Smith, I added a more difficult level. Win twice at the first level, and you automatically go to the next level. Losing can bring you back down to the simple level.
Feb. 16, 2001. Version 1.1: The pea is randomly allowed to bounce from cup to cup before finally settling in a shell. Also, I varied the shell movement (and transparency) a little.
Feb. 12, 2001. This is the first version, and at this point, I don't know whether the game is too easy, too difficult, or a balance. I'd appreciate anyone who tells me an opinion. Since the game in its present form is only 15K (!!!!!), the number of variations can be increased without loss in loading time.
A good aspect of a Flash 5 animation is that it runs on both Mac and PC (and I've tested the game on both). If you don't have the Flash 5 plug-in, it is a fast download.
