Relaxation in chess is knowing how to win a game already won in theory. The endgames presented here (for Net3 or better or IE4 or better) are not difficult . . . unless one doesn't already know them.
Each endgame allows you either to play the moves or watch the moves being played.
king & 3 pawns vs. king & 3 pawns
Incidentally, if you're unfamiliar with the rules, the following terms may help:
| |
checkmate | |
The king does not have a safe square to move to, and the square on which he is standing is under attack.
|
stalemate | |
The king does not have a safe square to move to; the square on which he is standing is not under attack; and no other of that side's pieces can move. A draw.
|
draw | |
Neither side has enough material to force checkmate.
Another draw is repeating the same set of moves three times in a row; but I didn't include that in the script. The idea of these endgames is to force a win. |
