Come the fall, hunters aren't the only ones wearing camouflage and sneaking around a tree trunk. Welcome to the brown creeper!

In all fairness, only the top of the creeper's back is visible above. The following photo shows the brown creeper at a better angle.

The brown creeper is a small bird that I only noticed by coincidence: Various species of birds were flying and landing or landing and flying in a section of forest. I managed to focus on this particular one, who turned out to be a creeper (characterized by excellent camouflage and a long, curved bill).
