  Hoverflies are tiny pollenators, about the size of a pencil or ballpoint pen point - with wings.

  Trying to photograph anything so small is challenging, since the depth of field becomes minimal when getting very close to one.

  On the other hand, minimal depth of field creates an interesting 3D effect.
