Who can resist an eclipse?
And while the night sky over Long Island is not particularly dark, the moon cooperated exceedingly well and turned a lovely shade of red during its time in the Earth's shadow. |

Camera note: I used a Sony F707 (and its .7 multiplier) and took 180 photos (or 60 shots, since I bracketed every photo) over 2 hours or so.
