The Fisheye
and the Corkscrew Willow: Restless
May 2003

A frenzied corkscrew willow

Looking up at the roof of the sky.

This view follows some of the principal trunks of the corkscrew willow, and the fisheye distortion matches the corkscrew meandering to create strong diagonals that the eye swings along back and forth.

Photography note: The photo was taken with a Pentax LX and the SMC 17mm fisheye.
