A Bouquet26 July 2009

Sue is doing a good deed - minding a friend's cats - and has received a beautiful present: an absolutely lovely bouquet of flowers.

As soon as Sue brought the bouquet home, I immediately snatched the flowers from her and took them outside for a photo session (so I could have the Rose of Sharon as a suitable backdrop).

The Pentax soft focus lens takes a clear photo when the softness is set to minimum.

But I really enjoy the out-of-world view when the lens is on a soft setting.

Of course, the comparison is something of a cheat, since when showing flower photography, the larger the image displayed, the more fantastic the view.

Photo note: I used a Pentax K200D, with the SMC 85mm soft focus lens, on July 26, 2009, for these photos.
